Our center is the year round retreat center for the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island in Wading River, New York. The center welcomes a wide variety of groups and individuals to its beautiful site overlooking Long Island Sound, offering simple and comfortable accommodations for recreation, study, and reflection in its ministry of hospitality.

The 27-acre property is located on the bluffs of the scenic north shore of Long Island, including a quarter mile of beachfront with a 12-mile view to Connecticut. The Center's shoreline, wetlands, bluff, and woodlands, as well as the nearby vineyards, pine barrens, rivers, and beaches provide natural recreation and teaching opportunities.

During the fall, winter, and spring, the facilities are available for retreats, conferences, workshops, school programs, recreation, and camp-outs. Benson House: A historic, three-story house, offering bed and breakfast-style service overlooking the Sound with spectacular views of the sunset, suitable for retreats, dinners, and planning sessions. Lodges
1 & 2: Three-bedroom, one level house with garden and back porch overlooking the Sound. Two baths, full kitchen, living room, and dining room. Cabins: Eight heated cabins, each accommodating 12 people, include bathroom facilities with two separate shower buildings nearby.

Dining Hall: Spacious facilities for 135 people with fireplace and food service for meetings and special events St. Luke's Chapel: A place for worship and contemplation with magnificent water view among shade trees, lawn, and garden. Conference and Recreation Hall: With stage, large fireplace, sliding glass doors, and nature at every view. Outdoor Swimming Pool: For instruction and recreation in the warmer months

Beach: A wooded trail leads to bathing, aqua study, marine life science, sailing, fishing, and other water activies. Sports: New playing field, basketball courts, volley ball and badminton. Picnic and Tent Areas Canoe rentals: for off site use. Woodlands and Ravines : for nature walks, study, and photography. Area Attractions: Retail outlets, aquarium, fishing villages, championship golf courses, vineyards and wineries throughout the North Fork. |
