The mission of the DeWolfe Center is to strengthen, support
and uphold the Bishop, people and parishes of the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island by
providing, for people of all ages, nationalities, faiths and races, a unique
experience of Christian community in a remarkable setting. Through camp
and educational programs, conferences, and retreats, we offer a place to
discover and celebrate the fullness of God's love in Christ, the beauty and
wonder of God's creation, and a community that encourages spiritual growth and
the deeper understanding of others.

Our camp's mission is to provide a place for youth to discover the fullness of God's love in Christ, an atmosphere in which to appreciate the beauty and wonder of God's creation, and the opportunity to be part of a community that encourages spiritual growth and the understanding of others.
We welcome people of all faiths and cultural backgrounds as campers and staff.
Simply translated: camp offers fun, friendship, discovery, skill development, and spiritual growth. In the words of a camper: " I think I am in love with this camp... a warming and welcoming place."
The camp is a ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island and an agency of Episcopal Charities, which is the major financial supporter of the camp's ministry.
